A Claude skill that turns messy business inputs — meeting notes, a call transcript, an email thread, some half-formed numbers — into a decision-ready executive memo with a clear recommendation, scored options, and next actions.

Open Claude Desktop /ChatGPT.
Drag the file into the chat window.
Click Save skill.

Done. It's now available in every conversation, and activates on its own whenever you describe a decision.

How to use it

Describe the decision in plain language. There's no command to remember — the skill recognises a decision when it sees one. or use "/" followed by the skill name.

"Should we open a Riyadh entity this quarter, or wait?"
"Here are my notes from the partner meeting — what should I do?"
"Compare these two distributors for me."
"Go/no-go on this deal. I need to decide before Thursday."
"Help me prepare a recommendation for tomorrow's board meeting."

Paste/ point it to whatever you have. Rough bullets, a forwarded email, a voice-note transcript — it doesn't need to be organised first. Sorting the mess is part of the job.

What comes back

It first checks whether there's enough to work with, then gives you one of three things.

A full memo — when you have real information and at least two genuine options. With the decision question, an executive take, context, a facts-versus-assumptions table, GCC-specific considerations, scored options, the recommendation, risks, what would change the call, and next actions with owners and dates.

A provisional memo — when your inputs are partial. Same structure, but the recommendation is deliberately scoped down to match the evidence, and it ranks what's missing by how much each gap would move the decision.

A prep checklist — when there isn't a real decision on the table yet, only a topic. It tells you what to gather, whom to consult, which numbers to confirm, and what the actual options need to be before analysis is worth doing.

Three things worth knowing

It leads with the answer. The recommendation appears in the first few lines, not buried after four pages of context. If you read nothing else, you still know what to do and what it costs you.

It separates facts from assumptions, visibly. Every memo carries a table marking which claims are verified and which are merely believed. This is usually the most useful part, because it exposes what a decision is actually resting on — and it's often one unchecked number.

It gets smaller when the evidence gets thinner. With weak inputs it will recommend a pilot, a single validating step, or a considered delay, rather than softening the language around a large commitment. That's deliberate. A confident small call is more useful than a vague large one.

Expect it to be blunter than a typical summary tool.

Adjusting it

Just say so in the conversation. The scoring weights, the section structure, the tone — all of it responds to direction:

"Weight cash impact much higher, we're tight this quarter."
"Skip the scorecard, I just want the narrative."
"Make it one page for the board."
"This is a family business on the other side — factor that in."

No files to edit, no settings to configure.

Note

The Word conversion uses a small Python package that Claude installs automatically the first time it's needed. If it reports a problem, the markdown memo is still produced and you can ask for the Word version again.

The skill can also pull context from your email and calendar about a named client or counterparty — but only if you've connected those in Claude's / ChatGPT plugins settings, and it always asks permission first.
